INTERNATIONAL BOWHUNTER EDUCATION PROGRAM

WYOMING

The National Bowhunter Education Foundation (NBEF) is an independent, nonprofit, tax exempt education organization that develops, implements and administers the International Bowhunter Education Program (IBEP), which is a 10-12 hour, standardized course on bowhunting. It includes classroom study and field experience. The IBEP course is being taught in all 50 states, Canada and some European and African countries.

In Wyoming, the NBEF with cooperation from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, offer the IBEP to all bowhunters and potential bowhunters across the state.

There are two options available to complete the course:

•Bowhunting Practice
•When to Shoot/Where to Aim

Upon completing the course, a graduate will receive an internationally recognized card designating the student as an “IBEP Graduate” which is recognized by all states that require bowhunter education before hunting in their state.
